BD SYDNEY UNIVERSITY

Our principal dentist Dr.Park graduated from The University of Sydney and has been practicing for over 25 years. She has extensive knowledge in general dentistry expanding to implants, cosmetics, orthodontic and even clinical skin procedures.

Her philosophy is to create a clinic which provides service and treatment of highest quality whilst making sure her patients leave satisfied. This has been the foundation of Dental Focus for over 20 years.

Dr. Park’s ambitions motivate her to explore and improve areas in the dental field. She completes many professional development courses endorsed by the Australian Dental Association, providing updated industry specialty knowledge and innovations.

Dr. Park will always be involved in all aspects of the clinic, mentoring her staff and dentists and ensuring the team is in the same spirit. Outside of work, she applies her infection control protocols within the household.

Dr. Doyle Fernandes BDS, GradDip Ortho (City of London Dental School, UK), FICCDE, FIADFE, Certified Invisalign Provider.

Dr. Doyle Fernandes is currently the Senior Dentist at our Merrylands Dental Focus and has a passion for general dentistry and Orthodontics. Dr. Doyle moved to Sydney in 2013 and is an ADC certified dentist in Australia.

Dr. Doyle has a wealth of clinical experience and has been treating patients in private practice since graduation. He completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics through the City of London Dental School.

Doyle has a very caring personality towards his patients and is focused on early intervention in children aimed at modifying the growth of the jaws, in order to resolve teeth crowding. Doyle believes orthodontics should not only focus on the alignment of the teeth but also to improve the facial profile.

Outside of work, Doyle loves to keep fit and active, enjoys music, arts and the beach.

BDS ADELAIDE UNIVERSITY

Dr. Jun Lim was born in South Korea. After graduating from high school in South Korea, he moved to Australia to study dentistry at Adelaide University. After graduating from the University of Adelaide, he moved to Singapore to expand his clinical experiences.

While working in Singapore, he continued studying and attending various courses in order to broaden his basic knowledge in dentistry. He built up clinical experiences in dental implants and surgical extractions of broken teeth and wisdom teeth.

He is interested in dental implantology, oral surgery and orthodontic treatment. After working in Singapore for three years, he moved back to Australia in 2018 to continue on working as a general dentist.

He values patient feedback as he believes it will help him become a patient orientated dentist. Now, he is providing all aspects of dental services such as fillings, crown, root canal treatment, dental implants and tooth extraction. He is regularly attending meetings and seminars as he is willing to learn advanced knowledge and technology in dentistry.

Dr. Lim will provide all the necessary information to guide his patients for the best dental treatment plan. His ultimate goal is patient satisfaction in his dental services.

Dr. Iris Seo has always enjoyed working with her hands, and having completed her Master of Dentistry in Griffith University enables both her artistic and scientific talents to fulfill her passion to help people improve their oral health not just to look good but also to feel good.
Her friendly and calm demeanor has helped many adults and children with dental phobia to be motivated to keep their beautiful smiles. Dr. Iris takes pride in bringing personalised care to meet individual needs by tailoring all treatments to suit each patient’s preference.

As a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), Dr. Iris is committed to providing the highest standard of dental care through continuous education, with strong emphasis on preventative and restorative dental care. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and sharing her wealth of knowledge with her patients.

In her downtime, Dr. Iris enjoys various sports and arts & craft activities such as photography, glazing her ceramic works, hiking, and surfing.

BOH SYDNEY UNIVERSITY (ADULT SCOPE)

Bryce Ko studied a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Sydney, dual-qualifying him as a dental therapist and dental hygienist. He then continued his education, combining his knowledge of geriatrics and the adult dentition with his restorative clinical skills to be part of the first graduating class of the prestigious Adult Scope course of The University of Sydney. Bryce prides himself on his patient management, always making his dental appointments fun and making life long relationships with his patients.

His specialty is oral health education and believes that it is the key in preventing not only dental diseases but also systemic diseases - such as heart disease and diabetes. He always takes the time to teach his patients about dental home care and the importance of maintenance visits. With his passion lying within education, he also promotes dental health on social media through running his own dental professional Instagram page.

Outside of dentistry, Bryce wears his heart on his sleeve and has a wide range of hobbies/interests. He is the encyclopaedia for all things sport (especially basketball) and has recently taken up social soccer. Within his friend groups he is also known for being the clown - never failing to get a laugh.

Dr. Reivan graduated from Griffith University with alumni membership of the Griffith Honours College. He had various positions during his studies such as volunteering with the Esesson Foundation providing free dental treatment to disadvantaged children, his vice-presidency, among others. He aims to put his patients at ease, always has a positive and calm attitude. In his spare time, he enjoys training at the gym, watching soccer, going out with friends, & volunteering.
