Teething
Teething begin in infants from 2 months old, even though they may be a ‘late’ teether. One of the first tooth that appears is on the lower, central incisors.
As these teeth emerge, the gum may look red or swollen. Sometimes a ‘blood blister’, (fluid-filled) can form over the emerging tooth.
Many children have little or no problem with teething, while others may have significant discomfort. Usually, the pain with teething comes and goes and may seem to ease after several minutes.
